Wings at the WorXout

I completed this mural back in November, but I can finally post about it now that things are all finalized. This wing mural was commissioned by The WorXout, an awesome gym that recently moved to a new location in Fort Wayne.

They had a unique vision for this piece: butterfly wings with muscles! I created the wings out of the words that The WorXout is inspired by, such as Family, Passion, Happiness, and more. In addition to this, a smaller butterfly in the corner is meant for dogs to have their own wings. A caterpillar looks on from the ground, waiting for his turn to become a butterfly. And an "I Heart FW" shows how proud the WorXout is to be in this awesome city.

At the end you'll see my mom posing in front of the wings and you'll also see Kevin, one of the WorXout's patrons who happened to be finishing up a workout and let us take his photo. Thanks Kevin!

This was a really cool place to have made a piece for. Check out The WorXout if you're looking for a friendly and fun Fort Wayne gym!
